This type of solar collector is designed to use the sun's
energy to generate hot water for both domestic and commercial use by transferring heat from the collector to the storage cylinder.
This type of solar panel does not generate electricity however they can
be integrated extremely well with a heat pump system. Solar water panels will assist in achieving Co2 targets and also Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) levels 4, 5 and 6.
System owners may also be able to advantage of the government's new scheme that will reward owners for generating heat from a renewable source, the
new scheme is called the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
The RHI has been outlined as paying 8.5p/kWh for commercial applications and 19.2p/kWh for domestic applications.

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air outside. Similar to ground source systems, they use this heat to

heat pump. This system has efficiencies of more than 300% and can provide
huge Co2 reductions and running cost savings.
The Co2 reductions with air source heat pumps means that they are often the perfect choice for meeting planning objectives and Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) levels.
Heat pumps can also be an attractive investment for the system owner with the new RHI with potential payments of more than £1250 per year to system owners.
Our air source heat pumps can be integrated with solar panels (both solar PV and solar thermal) and wood burners. We also have our exclusive Intelligent Heating control package that is able to control multiple Ecodan heat pump systems on a single heating distribution system. This controller is most suited to larger commercial and public sector buildings.

Ground source (geothermal) heat pumps extract heat from the
ground and water outside. This heat is then used to provide central heating and hot water. The systems offered by Intelligent
Energy Solutions have efficiencies, in most instances, of more than 400%. A
conventional boiler is approximately 70-90% efficient. These systems can
also be integrated with solar panels for assisting with water heating
or generating electricity.
Massive efficiencies provides Co2 reductions assist in meeting Co2 targets. These system also enable properties to meet Code for Sustainable Home (CSH) levels.
Additionally the new Renewable Heat
Incentive (RHI) for commercial projects has been confirmed at 4.5p/kWh and 18.8p/kWh for domestic applications.
